The pity took place on Tues 14th July 2009 at my House with all close relatives in attendance, they were there to plaster me yellow. During this day on till Friday 17th July 2009, I would get reapplied with yellow powder by female members of the extended family. On the first Day (tues) the indian priest is in attendance to begin religious proceedings - make offerings to the gods.
